Thinking about link popularity.

Search engines put a lot of stock in link popularity. If you have a lot of people linking to your website, you can be certain that you will be rewarded with good search engine placement for the terms relevant to your website. That’s important, because search engines are the number one way to get massive traffic flows. If you want customers, you need that traffic.

So, how do you get the links? You could try to trade links back and forth with other sites, but how annoying would that be? Talk about inefficient! You could try to write the next irresistible piece of link bait in order to convince people to link to you on their own accord, but that is much harder than it sounds and is hit or miss at best.

There is another option. Blogitive, for instance, will take information about your site and give it to a massive cadre of bloggers who will then write about you and link back to you. The search engines will definitely take notice of those inbound links and you will finally see your site creeping up the search engine results to the point where you can finally get the traffic you need to succeed.
