Positive attitudes...Positive actions...Food and health...

I have given Rachael Ray some serious props for some comments she has made about how she refuses to kill herself in order to squeeze into a size 2. She is healthy and won't preoccupy herself with staying ultra slim just because she is on camera and living large. That is awesome. It is a great attitude--not being all caught up in the beauty myth, etc.

Of course, RR doesn't hit the scales at 300# and have Richard Simmons begging her to stand up just once... There are limits to how carefree a person can be, you know? I mean, really, alot of those awesome tasting Rachael Ray recipes are a wee bit too cheesy and fatty for everyday use, don't you think? To me, it is all about balance. Apparently, Rachael has it. Others should probably seek it, too.

One great way to balance things out is to exercise in addition to feeding yourself delightful treats. And the internet has made it so much easier to do that the right way. There are sites like Bodybuilding.net where people can get their questions answered by other experienced members, share ideas about better nutrition, exercise, etc.

Hey, I know not everyone is all about being a bodybuilder, but weight lifting and bodybuilding activities are a GREAT way to drop a few extra lbs. of Rachael Ray's lasagna. If you can find a cool excercise system and lifestyle plan that works for you, you can be a very healthy person without being an obsessive compulsive, you know? And some people actually start getting involved just to firm up a bit and find themselves really getting into the bodybuilding sport.
