Hi, Dobie here. This is my first addition to the Rachael Ray blog my dear sweetie runs. Forgive me if I suck by comparison. I am not quite as obsessed.
I found this Rachael Ray Christmas and Holiday party guide on the Oprah site. It has a sample clip of her showing Oprah how to throw a holiday soiree.
I wonder if this is what helped Oprah decide to that Rachael Ray needs her own talk show. If you don’t know what I am talking about, Rachael Ray is about to have her own talk show produced by Oprah’s Harpo Productions.
I can’t wait. I think Rachael Ray is a great person and a great cook. There are some of those who don’t think you can be both, but Rachael Ray proves them wrong.
The site - listed here - http://www.oprah.com/foodhome/home/gifts/slide/20051123/gifts_20051123_284_101.jhtml -
Gives three tips for throwing your holiday party:
Less is more.
Keep it simple.
Have a small guest list.
Don't buy a lot of stuff—use things you already have!
That’s the beauty of Rachael Ray’s ideas, cheap, simple, and available to anyone. That is why everyone loves her. I mean she already has four different shows on the Food Network and one talk show on the way. She came from being a candy girl at Macy’s to being a celebrity chef and American icon.
