Toddzgrrl02, not quite a household name, took the time to write a long, long list of thirty reasons she dislikes Rachael Ray. Interesting how distaste for Rachael Ray is so often accompanied by obsession, isn't it?
Here's a sample of the stellar reasons provided:

9. She has exhausted her friends, family, even the homeless guy on the corner for all of their recipes and now we are left over with her various "sammie" recipes on how to make burgers and "pizza-dillas" *gags*
10. The blonder her hair gets, the more loud and obnoxious and manic she gets.
11. She lowered herself to pose for FHM. That's always nice for the little girls who might have looked up to her.
12. Oprah endorses/supports her.
13. She repeats herself constantly. In a cooking show, that might not be such a bad thing, but in her case, it's too much. We are not idiots."
I don't feel a need to dissect them. It's just weird to me that a hater would spend so much time on Rachael Ray. Maybe Toddzgrrl has a girl-crush or something? I don't know.

actually, it's all in good natured fun. I don't "bash" her like some ppl do, and I think I have valid points in why I dislike her... I used to think she was cute and stuff, but then she just got old and annoying. she is everywhere. I need a break from her. and not only that, but her recipes are not that good. seriously. But, to each his/her own. I don't begrudge anyone for liking her, that's their choice... but I just don't. I actually watched her show one night... they had one from 2004 on first and then one from 2006, and man, there was a huge difference. just saying, I'm glad you made an entry just for me, makes me feel special, but all I did was make one comment on why I dislike her, unlike other ppl who make entire blogs on why they love her? and yet I am the one supposedly with some crush? yah, I don't think so.

Well, you see, when you find something to be annoying you want to do anything in your power to get rid of that thing and convince other people that you're right. I don't blame her at all...I mean, Rachael Ray reall IS that irritating, and all of those reasons are completely correct.
